We all reach an age at which we begin to question our purpose—some of us get there sooner than others. Ever since I first started working in the professional world, I knew that it wasn’t quite the right fit for me. At first I thought maybe the company I was at just wasn’t a good fit. But after multiple jobs with different companies, of different sizes, I realized that there was a key component missing—impact.
None of my roles truly left me feeling fulfilled on any level. I never felt a real connection to my work, which only made me lose interest after a couple years. And so I made up in my mind that I was going to do something different. When my cousin passed before his 33rd birthday, I knew I couldn’t continue working a job just because it paid the bills. I needed something more.
I have always wanted to walk away from my work knowing that I touched someone’s life or connect to someone in an authentic way. No traditional nine to five has ever given me that satisfaction. So what do you do when you can’t find the job you’re seeking? Create it for yourself.

Although we may share similar experiences, no two people live a moment the same way—not even twins. I created SoulFull Expression as a way to create a canvas for my experiences. I wanted to share my travel, my passions, and my culture with the world. I needed a platform that connected me to the people around me and allowed me to give a voice to those who often go unheard.
There is so much that connects us as people. This ability to connect with one another links our souls together. Through the wonderful medium of design, I am able to share my soul with you and give you a peek into the lens through which I view the world around me. I realize that not everyone will be able to see the world firsthand in their lifetimes—but does that mean they have to miss out on the experience all together? There are artists who aren’t sure how to get their work shown—but does that mean they should remain hidden from the world?
Not only is SoulFull Expression a way for me to share my soul with the world, it is also a community for others to do the same. I want to help inspire and cultivate creative expression in those in our Tribe. As I said, we experience moments differently and I want to help paint a broader picture to help open our hearts and minds to the possibilities that exist when people of different walks and circumstances come together to tell the story of life.
Every piece in our collections has a special connection to something in my past, present—and possibly my future. While some pieces are meant to be nostalgic, others were specifically created to spark tough conversations. It is my hope that these pieces touch your soul and inspire you to share your own creative outlook with the world.
